Wireless Internet is about unleashing the power of the Internet for ‘secure, anytime, anywhere' personalised access from virtually any device. Acme will provide services to develop solutions for mobile phones & Personal Digital Assistants (PDA) devices that will enable people to access vital information when on the move.
The target audience for wireless internet/intranet solutions are:

We shall seamlessly integrate the solutions with the existing applications. In applications using mobile phones, push-pull methodology will be used that will enable the service provider to deliver ideal services to the end-user

Mobile Data Capture
There is an increasing demand from organisations for getting near real time information from remote locations. Acme shall provide consulting and technical expertise to build, deploy and support mobile data solutions with database synchronizing capabilities on various platforms including PALM and Windows CE. We shall provide services to integrate front office systems with backend corporate databases. Some of the applications that we have developed are in the following domain areas:

Sales Force Automation
To successfully serve customers today, sales organisations need to have strong coordination efforts among marketing, call centres, field sales, channel sales, and customer support departments. In addition the need to link front office systems with back office systems such as finance, distribution, and manufacturing to meet customer expectations is increasingly being felt. The ability to capture data and transform it to information is vital for competitive advantage and our solutions address these requirements.

Health Care
Use of PDAs for accessing patient data, lab results, and surgical reports at the right time by the medical fraternity is critical to good patient care. Getting this information to those that need it in the most efficient and cost-effective way is a challenge, which Acme has already addressed.
Our solution shall provide hospitals and physicians with quick & flexible solutions to capture information using PALM devices.

With the use of mobile devices on the rise, so is the demand for new applications, which translates into an increase in the required functionalities of these devices. We have a dedicated group to develop new applications on existing devices and protocols.
